Our quick visit to Montpellier left a lasting impression on us. The vibrant city welcomed us with its lively atmosphere and stunning architecture. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the charming streets, taking in the sights and sounds of this cultural hub. Our children were particularly fascinated by the beautiful blend of historical buildings and modern designs that adorned the city.
In Nîmes, we had the opportunity to explore two iconic Roman landmarks with our kids: the Arena and the Maison Carrée. Stepping inside the Arena, we were transported back in time, imagining the thrilling gladiatorial contests that once took place within its walls. The Maison Carrée, a remarkably preserved Roman temple, impressed us with its intricate architecture and rich history. It was a captivating experience for the whole family, as we learned about the ancient Roman civilization and its lasting impact on this charming city.
Our visit to Cannes was brief but memorable. We made a quick stop at the local market, where we indulged in the vibrant atmosphere and sampled some delicious local produce. In Nice, we savored a delightful lunch at Ruhl's beach restaurant, enjoying the panoramic views of the azure waters. The fresh seafood and Mediterranean flavors tantalized our taste buds, making it a truly memorable dining experience. Afterward, we couldn't resist the inviting public beach, where we took a refreshing dip in the sea and enjoyed the warm sun on our skin. It was a perfect moment to unwind and recharge before continuing our journey to Menton.
